The dressing room of this new build house is top lit by a circular lay-light. The island mirrors that circle and was made by Zelouf & Bell using birdseye maple in a pale sage green with a faux shagreen top. The wardrobes are glass by Rimadesio. The concept was that the wardrobes are neat and sleek, allowing the island to become a jewel in the centre of the room.
This bank of wardrobes are located outside children’s bedrooms to allow the bedrooms to be larger. They also mean easy access to a laundry shoot located behind one of the doors. The pendants are by Artek.
We designed this dressing room as part of a master suite in a new build. The island has an upholstered top which keeps clothes from sliding from the surface and adds softness to a space with hard surfaces. The shell pendant is by Arteriors.
This dressing room was created from a second bedroom in an apartment. We introduced pocket doors between two adjoining rooms, creating a master suite. The walls and cabinets are covered with the same hemp wallpaper to create a more seamless effect in the small space. The brass tables were found at Lots Road Auctions and the alabaster wall lights are by Vaughan.
